I made these pictures in April 2008 in Nepal..

In April 2008 I went back to Nepal to follow up with the latest political developments in Nepal. Suffering from the Maoist insurgency in the last 12 years, Nepal finally arranged elections for the Constituent Assembly. We filmed the situation in Nepal during the Elections and travelled to South Nepal as Election Observers. Unfortunately because of the filming I did not have time for photographing that much. But here you can see some of the pictures. Soon I will add some video footage.

The children of family Singh in South Nepal. They were our hosts during the elections. A wonderful family that brought a lot of joy in my life.

Victory rallys in Kathmandu. The Maoists won big time during the Elections in April 2008. You can see Yami from the Maoists, celebrating her winnings.
