Well, this guy you can see here is Jacob. In November 2006 I emailed him because I knew his book "American Pictures" since I was 5 years old. He surprisingly emailed me back and invited me to the US for February to go with him on a trip to visit the people from his book. At this point of the trip I didn't know that Jacob just needed someone to tease!!! And he teased me badly!!!!!

This is Jeff Berry, a friend of Jacob and former leader of the Ku Klux Klan. After Jacob has spent so many years with black people in the US he got curious what really is behind the KKK. With his love & compassion for every human being he got a deep insight in the Klan.

This is Jacob while taking care of his slide show. Look at the old picture from him in 1986 and the current photos - he is a technical dinosaur and is still working with the slides!!! But next fall he will have a digital version. But to tell you the truth, I loved the 4hour slide show. I always had to cry although I know all the pictures for so many years. It is still very moving.
