My love to Dhana Pati and his family

I met Dhana Pati on our trip to Mugu. He was one of our porters. Dhana Pati is 20 years old and lives with his family in Jumla, the district capital of the whole Jumla-area. I really enjoyed his happy nature and his amazing beauty and natural way of being. We got friends and he invited me to his family. Me and Dhana Pati could not talk to each other because my Nepali is very very little but we connected anyway.
I made some photographs of him, his friend Krishna and his family.

2 weeks later Iater I returned to Jumla and brought them the photos. They were really happy and I made some photos inside their house while they were looking at the photos. These are one of my favorite photos I made in Nepal - and this day was one of my happiest days in my life.

You can see the kitchen where they prepare food on an open fire as it is tradition in Jumla. This causes a lot of health problems such as head ache, eye and lung problems. You can see Dhana Patis mother preparing Rotis, the traditional bread.
