At the same time, he treats the original version and its history with respect, which means that also experienced listeners of classical music can enjoy “Vivaldi Recomposed”.
Joining Max Richter in this exceptional project is Daniel Hope, the British violinist. He is both a notable champion of contemporary music and an exponent of the standard classical repertoire. That makes him the ideal soloist for Richter’s piece.
